Brazilian Freestyle Name for FF — 모, ϟ and Small-Caps Tags

A Free Fire freestyle name is a short tag built from borrowed letters such as 모, ϟ and 444, wrapped around one styled word rather than a full name. Copy any of the 137 tags here; every one fits under twelve characters, and each card shows its own count.

✎

A Brazilian freestyle name for FF is a short Free Fire tag in the look Brazilian players made popular — a made-up word full of x and z, small capital letters like ᴠᴇxᴢ, and a finishing mark such as 모, ϟ or !! . Copy one of the 137 tags and marks below, or type your own word into the box above. Every card is 12 characters or fewer with ordinary no-break spaces for gaps, because a third of the most-voted freestyle names people copy use a gap Free Fire has refused since OB43.

FF freestyle name tags with 모

모 is the mark most people picture when they think of a freestyle name. It is a Korean syllable, “mo”, and it sits before or after the tag with or without a space. The character count is on every card, so you can see what is left of the 12.

What top-voted freestyle names are made of

To see what the style really is, we took the 41 most-voted Brazilian freestyle names on public nickname lists and counted what each one contains. The x-and-z spelling is almost universal; everything else is a choice.

What the name contains Names Share Example of the pattern
An x or a z 33 80% Kxiro, Rxzz
Small capital letters 15 37% ᴠᴇxᴢ
A Hangul Filler gap (U+3164) 14 34% OɴʟʏㅤZenx
! ? or ‽ at the end 12 29% Vexz!?
The syllable 모 10 24% Kxiro 모
Bold or italic maths letters 8 20% 𝙡𝙪𝙭𝙯
Cheat slang (xit, panel, H4K) 7 17% —
444 in any form 6 15% RXZZ444
Wide (fullwidth) letters 5 12% BRABO
12 characters or fewer 29 71% Fits the Free Fire box
12 UTF-16 units or fewer 25 61% Fits even if styled letters count double

Two rows matter more than the rest. The Hangul Filler in 14 of the names is the old blank character Free Fire stopped accepting in OB43, so those names fail as copied; the no-break space U+00A0 does the same job and still works, as the blank and invisible characters guide explains. And 12 of the 41 are simply too long for the box — the full cost of each style is measured in how long a stylish name really is.

Small-caps freestyle names

Small capitals give the tag its clipped, all-caps-but-quiet look. There is no small-capital x in Unicode, so the x stays an ordinary letter — which is exactly how the popular names look too.

444 and ϟ tags

Numbers and a lightning-shaped letter make a tag look like a rank. 444 is written three ways in the names we examined; ϟ is actually the Greek letter koppa.

PvP and spaced-out tags

PvP and MvP mark a player who plays for fights. Spacing out single letters, Z Y N X, is the other signature move — each space is a character, so keep the word to four letters.

Portuguese words: Rei, Brabo, Lenda

Real Brazilian names often use Portuguese words instead of made-up ones: rei is king, brabo is slang for tough or skilled, lenda is legend, mito is slang for a legend, sombra is shadow, fantasma is ghost, monstro is monster, veloz is fast and raio is lightning.

BR tags and the Brazil flag

BR in small superscript letters, ᴮᴿ, costs two characters. The flag 🇧🇷 also counts as two — it is a pair of regional indicator letters, B and R — but four UTF-16 units, so in a box that counts units it takes a third of a 12-character name.

Where the marks come from

Every mark in an FF freestyle name is a letter borrowed from another writing system — none of them is Portuguese.

Almost none of the freestyle marks are symbols. They are letters borrowed from other writing systems, picked for their shape:

Freestyle marks by official Unicode name, checked on 13 September 2026.
Mark Code point Official Unicode name What it really is
모 U+BAA8 Hangul syllable mo A Korean syllable
ϟ U+03DF Greek small letter koppa An archaic Greek letter, the numeral 90
メ U+30E1 Katakana letter me A Japanese syllable
ツ U+30C4 Katakana letter tu A Japanese syllable that looks like a smile
ꔪ U+A52A Vai syllable pi A syllable from the Vai script of Liberia
乙 U+4E59 CJK unified ideograph A Chinese character used as a Z
⸙ U+2E19 Palm branch A punctuation mark from old manuscripts
⸸ U+2E38 Turned dagger A punctuation mark

Because most of them are letters, a name field that allows letters and blocks symbols will usually take them — which is the practical reason the style leans on them. The rules a game applies are covered in why a game rejects your stylish name.

FAQ

What is a Brazilian freestyle name in Free Fire?

A short, sharp player tag in the style made popular by Brazilian Free Fire players: a made-up word heavy with x and z, small capital letters, and a finishing mark such as 모, ϟ or an exclamation mark. In the 41 most-voted examples we examined, 80% had an x or z, 37% used small caps and 24% ended or began with 모.

What does 모 mean in a Free Fire name?

It is the Korean syllable “mo”, Unicode U+BAA8. In a freestyle tag it is decoration rather than a word, and because it is a letter, not a symbol, it counts as a single character in the name box.

Why won’t my copied freestyle name save in Free Fire?

Two usual reasons. The gaps in many copied names are Hangul Fillers (U+3164), which Free Fire has refused since its OB43 update — 14 of the 41 top-voted names use one. Or the name is over the 12-character limit, which 12 of the 41 were. Every card on this page uses U+00A0 for its gaps and is 12 characters or fewer.

What are 444 and ϟ in freestyle names?

444 turns up in 6 of the 41 names, written three ways: plain 444, wide 444 and small ⁴⁴⁴. ϟ is the Greek small letter koppa, an old Greek letter once used as the numeral 90; players use it for its lightning-bolt shape.

Can a freestyle name get me reported?

The styling is not the issue, the words can be. Seven of the 41 names carried Brazilian gamer slang for cheating — xit, panel (painel, a cheat menu) and H4K. A name that advertises cheats invites reports from other players, so the names on this page leave those words out.
