Heart Stylish Name — Heart, Sweetheart & My Heart Names

A heart stylish name puts a heart mark either side of a styled word, and the mark you pick decides whether it fits. Copy any of 126 here — heart, heartless, broken heart, heart hacker — each card showing what the heart costs in characters.

✎

A heart stylish name is a name written in soft Unicode letters with a heart beside it — ♡ 𝓗𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓽 ♡, ❥ ℍ𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕥 ℚ𝕦𝕖𝕖𝕟, or 🍬 𝕾𝖜𝖊𝖊𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖆𝖗𝖙 ♡ for the sweetheart look. Copy one of the 108 heart names, hearts and faces below, or type your own name into the box above. Not every heart you can copy is a heart, though: of 405 heart items we sorted, one in eight is really a letter or a number from another script that only looks like one.

Heart names

Heart stylish name and heart name style are the two ways this is searched. The word goes in a script, blackletter or double-struck alphabet, and the heart does the rest — one on each side reads as framed, one at the end reads as signed.

Sweetheart stylish names

Sweetheart has its own following — sweetheart stylish name, sweetheart name style and sweet heart stylish name are all steady searches. These pair the word with a heart or a sweet.

Hearts that are not hearts

We took the heart, hearts and sweetheart sets from the decoration library our pages are built from — 1,489 items — and kept the 405 that contain a heart of any kind. 258 of those (64%) use a colour emoji heart, 99 (24%) a text heart such as ♡ or ❥, and 52 (13%) a character that is not a heart at all in Unicode. These are the lookalikes, and where they really come from:

𑣲 U+118F2 Warang Citi number ninety A numeral from a historic script of eastern India 19 2
ᥫ᭡ U+196B U+1B61 Tai Le letter e + Balinese musical symbol dong A letter and a music sign, side by side 16 2
ᰔ U+1C14 Lepcha letter bla A letter from the Lepcha script of Sikkim 10 1
ꨄ U+AA04 Cham letter ai A letter from the Cham script of Vietnam and Cambodia 5 1
ღ U+10E6 Georgian letter ghan A letter of the Georgian alphabet 1 1

Two practical consequences. Because most of them are letters, a name field that allows letters and refuses symbols will often accept them where it refuses ♡. And because they come from less common scripts, a phone without the right font shows a box — 𑣲, which lives outside the Basic Multilingual Plane, is the likeliest to. Text hearts and emoji hearts behave differently again: why ❤ can be black on one phone and red on another is explained with the love and relationship names, and why any character turns into a box is covered in why a stylish name shows as boxes.

Broken heart and heart hacker names

Two shelves sit just outside the soft ones and get searched almost as often: the broken heart, for when the name is the message, and the heart hacker, where the heart is a tag rather than a feeling. Both are built the same way as the rest of this page — a mark, a styled word, a mark — and both carry their character count on the card.

The broken heart emoji costs two units before the name even starts. The outline heart costs one.

The practical difference between them is cost rather than mood. 💔 is an emoji, so it takes two units in a field that counts the strict way, while ♡ and ♥ are plain characters that take one each — which is why a broken-heart name runs out of room first. If yours keeps getting cut, swap the emoji for the outline heart before you shorten the word; at small sizes almost nobody can tell them apart.

A heart fancy name is not a font

None of these hearts is a font you install. A fancy name is ordinary Unicode text — characters that already exist in the standard — which is why it pastes into any app and why there is nothing to install and nothing that can fail to download.

The boundaries are the usual ones. A display name, a bio and an in-game name are free-text fields and take these characters; a handle or @username is restricted by design to letters, digits, dots and underscores and refuses them. Any system that normalises text with NFKC also folds many styled letters back to plain: of the 93 styles on this site, measured on 12 September 2026 against Unicode 9.0.0 data, 12 revert to the exact plain spelling, one reverts in capitals, two turn into different text and 78 come through untouched.

For this page the split is useful rather than disappointing: the heart marks themselves are decorations, so they sit in the 78 that survive untouched. It is the bold and cursive alphabets between them that quietly revert, which is why a plain word inside two hearts outlasts a heavily styled one.

FAQ

How do I make a heart stylish name?

Type your name into the box at the top of this page, pick a script or double-struck style, and put a heart on one or both sides — ♡ for a soft outline, ❥ for a tilted heart, or a colour emoji like 💗. Or copy one of the heart names on this page.

What is the ᥫ᭡ heart?

It is two characters that together look like a heart with a tail: ᥫ is TAI LE LETTER E, from a script used for the Tai Nüa language in China, and ᭡ is BALINESE MUSICAL SYMBOL DONG. Neither is a heart in Unicode — the heart is in the shape.

Why does the 𑣲 heart show as a box on some phones?

𑣲 is WARANG CITI NUMBER NINETY, from a historic script of eastern India, and it sits outside the Basic Multilingual Plane. Phones that do not ship a Warang Citi font draw a box instead. If your friends see boxes, switch to ♡ or ❤, which almost every font has.

What is the difference between ♡ and ❤?

♡ is WHITE HEART SUIT, the playing-card heart; it is plain text, one character and one UTF-16 unit, and it takes the colour of the text around it. ❤ is HEAVY BLACK HEART, which many phones draw as a red emoji when a hidden selector follows it. Why the same heart can be black or red is explained on the love names page.

What are sweetheart stylish names?

Sweetheart, Sweety, Honey Heart, Sugar and My Sweetheart, written in soft Unicode letters and finished with a heart or a sweet — 🍬, 🍭, 🧁. They are on this page in their own section.
